The Home team designs features to aid in fully expressing the editorial intentions and breadth of offerings at the Times. We work closely with the newsroom and cross-functional partners to ensure that the homepage presents the day’s news at its best.

Standalone Products on Home NavFilters
Designed and tested navigation solutions to enhance user control and filtration capabilities on the Home feed
Created new layout options to distinctively showcase the NYT’s visual journalism
Developed and maintained the Home Design System ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability
Introduced internal collaboration tools for designing on Home
Assisted in Art Direction for NYT Games
It was at the Times where I really fell in love with
editorial design. I enjoyed the collaborative nature of the work, which involved working with news editors, curating images, and crafting language to create impactful layouts and visual compositions.
